About Inspire Cornwall

In May 2009 a £4m Appeal was launched to fund a major development project at Truro Cathedral to Inspire Cornwall through Nature, Education, Music & Art and Heritage.

Once upon a time… The people of Cornwall were inspired by the vision of building a Cathedral in the heart of Truro. They dug deep in their pockets and raised the funds to create that vision.

Today… One of the county's most visited landmarks, Truro Cathedral inspires thousands of people each year with its architecture, music and faith. The future of the Cathedral relies on a vision to restore and redevelop one of Cornwall's iconic landmarks as a green space, a creative space, a meeting place where future generations will come together and find inspiration through Nature, Education, Music & Art and Heritage.
